My girls love science.
From everything to paleontology to astronomy, they can’t get enough! My oldest takes every opportunity to tell everyone she meets that solid, liquid and gas are states of matter – duh – and the Euoplocephalus (dinosaur) had a club-like tail. While it borders on snobby sometimes, I figure maybe its that classy, “I’ll-be-a-scholar-someday” snobbiness that can’t be too bad. Right? (Oh geez, I’m just lying to myself, aren’t I?)
Luckily, we found Mudpuppy to foster their inner geek. With a wide array of crafts, imaginative toys, on-the-go kits and art supplies, Mudpuppy also has really cool flashcards.
Teach children their ABCs, colors, or words from a second language with Mudpuppy’s on-the-go flash cards. These sturdy cards on a reclosable ring can be used as flash cards, as a sorting game, or they can be separated and hung as decorations in a playroom or classroom.
26 sturdy 5 x 2-1/4″ two-sided cards – Recommended for ages 3+
We picked up a set of the Into Space cards and these things are NEAT! Brightly colored and chock full of fun facts, these cards will help your children feel ready for jobs at NASA. Did you know Mars has two moons, called Phobos and Deimos? Or that the largest asteroid is Ceres? No? Me neither. But your kids will!
I totally love that these are so educational as well as fun. My girls laugh when I tell them that “back in my day, Pluto was a planet” and they like quizzing each other on the names and arrangements of the planets. Plus, with a handy re-closable ring, you can clip it to a stroller, their backpack or your purse for on-the-go fun and learning.
These cards are GREAT and we would love for you to try some of Mudpuppy’s awesome products for yourself. In fact, Mudpuppy has set up a discount code for the readers of Modern Day Moms. How cool is that?! Just use the code ZZZ2 at check out for 15% off any order from their website!
But wait… THERE’S MORE! (Excuse my cliché infomercial phrase.)
Mudpuppy wants your kids to enjoy the Into Space cards too! So we’ll be giving away a set of these super cool flashcards.
