“Places To Visit: Our Travel Guide to ARUBA!”

We recently got invited to attend a trip of a lifetime! We packed our bags and headed to Aruba! Every time I even mention Aruba, I feel like I need to capitalize it: ARUBA!

Aruba welcome

I also may or may not start singing this song in my head:

Needless to say, we were very excited about this opportunity and we were off… Aruba, here we came!

We arrived in Aruba on Thursday, after a long day of flying which we didn’t mind. The idea of perfect beaches, beautiful sand and a beer were waiting for us.

That night, we got to experience the Carubbian Festival! I loved the fact that the attire was Island Casual. Yes, please!

The next morning, we met in the lobby with our beach wear on and we were ready to do some beach tennis with Jochem Ros.

For lunch, we headed over to the MooMba Beach Bar & Restaurant before taking up some stand-up paddle boarding and windsurfing lessons with Aruba Active Vacations.

Have you ever paddle-boarded standing up? You HAVE to try it!

After a fun day of activities, we headed back to relax before dinner at Papiamento where we did a little wine tasting with dinner. Highly recommend this place! The wine was amazing… the food too. :)

The next morning, we enjoyed a morning ATV Tour through Arikok National Park before having lunch at Boca Prins. For this day, they told us “we WILL get dirty!”

The rest of the weekend included activities like having an Aloe Vera & Rum Massage at the hotel, a beautiful sunset dinner at Marina Pirata, a moonlight hike tour with Eddy Croes, a private snorkel excursion with Tranquilo Sailing at Renaissance Marina in Oranjestad, lunch at Old Fisherman’s Restaurant, Culinary Excursion and Dinner at White Modern Cuisine – Meet-and greet with Chef Croes and Frank Kelly, and enjoyed the evening at MooMba Beach before packing our bags and heading home.

It was such an amazing experience and one we will NEVER forget! Aruba is an exotic place and one you have to see for yourself!

With that, I want to leave you with a photo we took. One that has absolutely NO filter.
