This week I’m going to tell you about one of my favorites.
Naan.
Take a spin through the bread aisle of any U.S. supermarket, and there’s one category you’re likely NOT to find: traditional flatbreads.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads fills the gap! Armed with the knowledge, methods and recipes needed to create authentic flatbreads, Stonefire brings authenticity and tradition into the flatbread category.
“The tradition of making flatbreads has been in existence for over 6,000 years,” shares the Ajmera family, baking veterans with over 40 years of experience. “We’ve spent years perfecting our flatbreads, researching ancient recipes and perfecting traditional baking techniques to bring wonderfully versatile flatbread with pure authentic flavor free of preservatives to customers throughout North America.”
Authentically baked with a naturally smoky taste, Stonefire Naan is prepared in small batches with Ghee (clarified butter) and fresh buttermilk following a traditional Indian recipe. Stonefire Roti, a South Asian bread thinner and less indulgent than naan, is made from stoneground wholemeal flour known as atta flour. Stonefire Mediterranean Pocket Pita is baked with an authentic whole wheat flour recipe to have a soft, chewy texture with a pocket that will not split when filled.
Most importantly, every Stonefire Authentic Flatbread is made with natural ingredients, and is free of preservatives, artificial colors or flavors, trans fat and hydrogenated oils. Plus all Stonefire flatbreads are ideal for storing in the freezer.
Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads are available at Costco, Kroger, Harris Teeter, H.E.Butt, Meijer, Supervalue, Gourmet Foods, Publix, Walmart, Stop and Shop and A+P, along with foodservice customers across the country.
If you look on Stonefire’s website, there are a ton of 15 minute meal ideas. Um, 15 minutes? Yes please! As a busy mom, time is valuable and the quicker it is to make a meal, the happier my family is.
I’m going to share one of my favorites with you..
