I use the coconut oil (I’m assuming it’s the same as the butter…looks the same) for skin care for my baby and myself. It is GREAT for diaper rash and I’ve heard for eczema, too. I haven’t tried to eat it yet though, because that seems weird after you slather on a baby butt!
Coconut oil is a solid below 78 degrees Fahrenheit. In the solid state coconut oil is called coconut butter. Coconut oil and coconut butter are actually the same thing.
No coconut butter has actual coconut flesh. Especially the brand above. My husband bought it by accident once. It is best to use as spreads. It is kind of like peanut butter yet made with coconut. I ate the whole jar by eating a spoonfull a day. Try it you will like it.
Must buy this and try it! Yum
You can keep microwaving the jar anytime you use it, it’s super handy and you don’t need to put it in your fridge. You might be able to find it at whole foods. It’s super great in rice. I made rice last night with pigeon peas, chicken broth, seasonings and the coconut butter… super YUMMY!
Also, here are some ideas on what to eat it with! http://heathereatsalmondbutter.com/2010/03/11/coconut-q-a/
That sounds amazing! I’ll have to try and find Coconut Butter!
